WHO CAN SIGN UP

To join the Maintenance Crew, you must be at least 18 before the first workday. There are no specific requirements other than that, but please note that most projects will occur on uneven terrain and require some physical fitness. The difficulty level of the projects will vary, so volunteers do not need to be highly skilled but must be willing to help.

FLIGHTS

Please note the following important information if you are one of the lucky 80 volunteers who have been admitted to the Maintenance Crew:

On Wednesday, January 24th, Visit Faroe Islands will be sending you an email that contains a personal promo code that can be used to purchase your flight tickets to the Faroe Islands.

Please note that you will need to purchase your flight tickets. However, we have an agreement with our national airline, Atlantic Airways, which will provide a unique promotion code. This code will give you a discount when purchasing the tickets.
A return ticket from CPH is expected to cost approximately 2500 DKK. See the different available routes here. 

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

During the four-night maintenance period, basic accommodation and food will be provided by Visit Faroe Islands. Please note that accommodation may be shared.

CELEBRATORY PARTY

On Saturday, May 4th, there will be a celebratory party in Tórshavn for all those who have joined and helped.
