A bit further out in the fjord, next to Øravík, is the uninhabited bay of Tjaldavík. Here is amazing nature with a large islet, which shelters Tjaldavík from the Atlantic Ocean. It is possible to drive to the beach. You will have good opportunities to harpoon plaice and other fish. An area of natural beauty that is equally well suited to snorkelling and skin-diving.
Visibility is generally good.
The depth is around 2 to 6 metres.
